PV GreenCard Assessment Centre Johannesburg
The GREEN Solar Academy Johannesburg operates one of the two SAPVIA PV Installer Assessment Centres in South Africa. The Assessment Centre is located at our Academy in Auckland Park, at Resolution Circle.
Benefit for Graduates from the PV Installer Assessment
- qualify to be part of a SAPVIA endorsed installer database which also forms a key entry point to become part of the PV GreenCard programme
- have the opportunity to apply for the qualification of a “Solar PV service technician” once the accreditation with MerSETA was sucessful
Equipment of the Assessment Centre
Our three Assessment roofs are equipped with:
- IBC SOLAR SA modules and mounting
- HellermannTyton DB boards
- SMA inverters provided by IBC SOLAR SA
The setup of the GREEN SAPVIA PV Assessment centre in Johannesburg was possible due to the support of IBC Solar, HellermannTyton SA, Resolution Circle, GreenCape and giz.
